Abstract

Profiled supporting panel consists of two corrugated metal outer layers, and an intermediate foamed plastic layer, the outer layers having a uniform cross section outside the joint covering and having a trapezoidal shape, while the thickness of the foamed plastic layer of the sides (4) is about 1/2 - 2/3 that of the raised portions (5,6), and in the zone of the side joints the lengthwise edges of the trapezoidal plates are so shaped that the total thickness of the overlapping plate edges (7,8) is approx. the same as the normal thickness of the sides and raised portions in the zone outside the joint covering part.
