Abstract
1348834 Cable terminations PIRELLI GENERAL CABLE WORKS Ltd 8 Aug 1972 [22 Sept 1971] 44206/71 Heading H2E In an H.T. cable termination of the type in which a tubular insulator 10 secured to a supporting structure is closed by a cap 12 having an aperture 22 through which extends a conductor stalk 24 crimped or sweated on to the end 28 of the cable conductor, circlips 36a, 36b engage grooves in the stalk 24 and opposite ends of a bushing 38 to prevent relative displacement due to thermal expansion of the cable. Sealing is provided by 0-rings 40 and a rubber shroud 44.
