1379933 Packaging dental fillings JOHNSON & JOHNSON 17 Nov 1972 [18 Nov 1971] 53210/72 Heading B8C [Also in Division C3] A paste-like dental filling blend consisting of an organic binder containing active polyfunctional monomer having terminal acrylic groups, an inorganic filler, and an active component of a curing system which, when combined with a second component, will generate free radicals to produce rapid polymerization of the binder system, is packaged by charging into a container to a depth of fill of less than ¢ inch, the containers being formed of polymer chemically inert to the blend and chosen from the group consisting of polyolefins, halogenated polyolefins, and polycarbonates. Premature hardening of the blend in the container is thereby avoided.
