1411948 Tie-rod end pieces RAPID METAL DEVELOPMENTS LTD 23 Feb 1973 [17 March 1972] 12532/72 Heading E1S In an assembly comprising a tie-rod end piece and an apertured, frusto-conical extension element 10 the latter is provided with a shoulder 15 and a spigot portion 16 to jointly seat the member 11 thereon; the arrangement being such that the assembly is provided with a smooth exterior surface of frusto-conical configuration and with respective internal wall portions 12, 18 of like configuration which are stepped as shown. The members 10, 11 are made from a synthetic resin, the member 11 having an internal bore defined by a helically channelled portion 13, a hexagonal portion 14 and a frusto-conical portion 12.
