1371007 Handles HABFURTER MOBELFABRIK DR HERMANN ILSE K G 2 April 1973 [1 April 1972] 15770/73 Heading A4U A handle for an article of furniture such as a door or a drawer comprises an annular component having a skirt c adapted to be inserted in a recess b in the article and an inwardly extending gripping flange d, and a box member g nesting within the skirt c and open towards the opening defined by the flange d. The annular component has a marking flange e and the skirt c is externally grooved for receiving adhesive e.g. glue, to firmly secure it in the recess b, and the component is made of plastics material by injection moulding and has a metallic protective coating applied by vapour deposition. The box member g is made of sheet metal or tinplate by deep-drawing or pressing, and it has a protective coating of anodized oxide or aluminium. [GB1371007A]
