1336609 Anti-smoking preparations D C WOODCRAFT 26 Sept 1972 [23 Dec 1971] 59894/71 Heading A5B Orally acceptable anti-smoking preparations comprise a silver amine complex or a silver compound and an ammonium compound which in the dissolved state combines with silver to form silver diamine complex ions. Preferred compositions comprise a silver salt such as silver lactate or silver acetate and sufficient ammonium nitrate to convert all the silver to silver diamine complex, but silver salts plus thiosulphates may also be used. The preparations may be in conventional solid and liquid forms, e.g. a tablet, solution or aerosol preparation, and may optionally comprise a co-carboxylase. [GB1336609A]
