Abstract
1394319 Illuminated signs; hoardings R V TCHAKGARIAN 1 Nov 1973 [2 Nov 1972] 50817/73 Heading G5C A sign comprises two ventical arrays of horizontal symbol-carrying translucent plastics panels 4 which are so inclined that a louvred arrangement is formed whereby wind passes unhindered through the sign, but light from internal sources 5 or 6 cannot reach an observer between the panels. The panels are secured to the ends of rod 7 vertically spaced on uprights 3 which are welded to channel sections 1 of a frame 2. Provision for thermal expansion of the panels is included.
