1404261 Kissing gates P G DORMEHL 21 March 1973 [20 Nov 1972] 13644/73 Heading E1B In a modified kissing gate either the gate or the fixed portions are deformable or a part thereof is displaceable so that the gate can be removed from the confines of the fixed portion. This may be achieved by hinges at the centre of the gate or in the limbs of the fixed portion or by telescopic means. The hinges joining the gate parts may be locked in the straight position and the hinged parts of the fixed portion may be urged to the straight position by helical springs. [GB1404261A]
