Abstract

After reaction with a cyanogen halide, polysaccharides form a water-soluble support for penicillin acylase. Due to its high stability, the polymer-bound penicillin acylase can be employed repeatedly for the enzymatic preparation of 6-aminopenicillanic acid from penicillins. [GB1405738A]
