Abstract

1459664 Bedpan supports VERNON & CO (PULP PRODUCTS) Ltd 11 April 1975 [25 April 1974] 18083/74 Heading A4N A support for a disposable bedpan, comprises a dished centre portion having a substantially flat bottom 10, generally outwardly inclined side walls (11), Fig. 1 (not shown), an upper web (12), and a peripheral flange 13 which extends downwardly and outwardly from the web (12), said flange being for the major part of its circumference of substantially less depth than the dished portion but, towards the rear, extending downwardly on each side to form downwardly and outwardly extending wings 14. The extremities of the wings may be provided with beading (16) Fig. 4 (not shown) and a thickened region (15). In a modification, Fig. 7 (not shown) the support, which is formed of moulded plastics incorporating a bacteriostat, includes merging concavities (20), (21). [GB1459664A]
