Abstract

1482325 Containers HOECHST AG 4 April 1975 [6 April 1974] 13901/75 Heading F4U [Also in Divisions B8 and B5] A heat insulating container and lid assembly comprises a container of a laminate of a porefree thermoplastics layer and a cellular thermoplastics layer, and a lid of a laminate of a cellular thermoplastics layer and a pore-free thermoplastics layer, the lid being bonded to the surface of the brim of the container. The container laminate is preferably a foam polystyrene layer 1 and a pore-free polystyrene film 2. The lid laminate is preferably a foam polystyrene layer 11, a polyurethane adhesive film 3 and a pore-free polyester film 4. The film 4 is of polyethylene terephthalate.
