Abstract

The synthetic lubricant preparation contains as the base material a mixture of a liquid polyol ester and a liquid polyalpha -olefin. The polyol ester is derived from an aliphatic monocarboxylic acid and an aliphatic polyol having at least two methylol groups on a quaternary C atom. The preparation is suitable for transmissions and internal-combustion engines. [GB1525392A]
