Abstract
1523914 Flame-resistant fibres containing units of carboxyphosphinic acid derivative HOECHST AG 17 Oct 1975 [19 Oct 1974] 42700/75 Heading C3P Flame-resistant filaments and fibres are made from a polymer of 35-85% by weight acrylonitrile, 5-45% by weight of vinyl chloride, vinyl bromide, vinylidene chloride or a mixture thereof, 6-30% by a carboxyphosphinic acid derivative of the formula in which each of R1 and R2 is alkyl or haloalky having at most 8 carbon atoms, R3 is H or Me, X is O or S, and Y is an optionally branched alkylene group (C1-6), and 0-15% by weight of one or more other copolymerizable ethylenically unsaturated monomers. The specific examples describe filaments produced from acrylonitrile, vinylidene chloride and as carboxyphosphinic acid derivative a compound of the formula
