1527984 Fertilizer containing 6-chloro-2-trichloromethylpyridine FISONS Ltd 27 Oct 1975 [31 Oct 1974] 47098/74 Heading C1B A fertilizer comprising K 2 0 : N of at least 1À25:1 also contains 6-chloro-2-trichloromethylpyridine. The fertilizer may comprise ammonium nitrate, sulphate or phosphate and potassium chloride, sulphate, phosphate or nitrate. The composition preferably comprises 8-20 wt. per cent N, 15-25 wt. per cent K 2 0, and 0À02-3 wt. per cent of the compound which may be incorporated in, e.g. granules or applied as a coating. The fertilizer is particularly useful for potatoes.
