Abstract

Stabilized, curable compositions formed from known free radical-polymerizable monomers (e.g., acrylates, styrene, etc.), and free radical initiators (e.g., peroxides, hydroperoxides, ultraviolet-sensitive compounds) by dissolving therein compounds containing the combination of allyl lower alkoxyl and hydroxyl groups. All the groups may be present in one molecule, or the allyl group may occur in a separate molecule. Concentration of each compound may be in the range of about 0.01 to about 5 percent by weight of the total composition. [CA1077190A]
