Abstract
The compounds of the formula Ia in which the substituents have the meaning stated in Claim 1 are obtained by hydrazinolysis of phthalyl derivatives of the formula IV. The resulting products can be used as anxiolytics, sedatives, hypnotics, spasmolytics, muscle relaxants, antidepressants and can furthermore be employed as starting materials for the preparation of pharmacologically active compounds. <IMAGE>
