Abstract

The catalyst comprising mainly noble metal and a support material has, on the one hand, a three-dimensional edge zone which is low in noble metal or free of noble metal and also has a like core, but, on the other hand, has a three-dimensional ring zone which is rich in noble metal. This catalyst has special activity which is obtained reproducibly and persists for a long time. It is used, in particular, in catalytical reactions. [GB1521652A]
