Abstract

The temperature sensor (10) comprises a base (20) and a thermistor (12) which has electrical contacts (23, 25). The elongated base (20) consists of a flexible material, e.g. Mylar, and its cross-section is dimensioned such that it is also thereby flexible. The conductors (14, 16) extend along the flexible base (20). The thermistor is mechanically supported by the base. The temperature sensor (10) has two electrical contacts (34, 36) which are connected to the conductors (14, 16), in order to facilitate an electrical connection between the thermistor (12) and a display unit. The temperature sensor (10) is tightly enclosed in a thin sheath (43). <IMAGE> [GB1600575A]
