Abstract

Pharmaceutical compositions which contain a systemic steroid-free antiinflammatory agent together with the histamine H2 antagonist ranitidine or a physiologically suitable salt thereof are described. The histamine H2 antagonist reduces damage to the gastric mucosa caused by the antiinflammatory agent. [FR2512342A1]
