Abstract
The folding boat comprises bow and stern sections, one of which forms a vehicle section to which a chassis can be fitted for travel on land, while the other section is hinged to fold up over the first. When folded at least, the boat has a fully enclosed compartment with the folding section as a protective roof. The panels of the vehicle and folding sections formed at the boot separation plane together constitute the compartment rear wall. A closable access opening for the compartment is formed in the rear wall.
