Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a device and method for treatment of collected ashes in an incineration facility of which operation is performed most easily and most safely for removing dioxine from the collected ashes in an already existing factory. CONSTITUTION: This device is comprised of a heating chamber 5 mounted at a side wall surface (a heat transfer wall) 52 of a dust incineration facility showing a high temperature heat and into which collected ashes 3 are fed, and a heating surface 55 to be heated upon receiving radiation heat radiated from the side wall surface 52 of the dust incineration facility. In addition, this device is comprised of a temperature adjusting means for adjusting the heating surface 55 to a desired temperature, an ash discharging means 58 for discharging collected ashes 3 transported to the bottom part within the heating chamber 5, a cooling means 7 for cooling the collected ashes 3 discharged from the ash discharging means 58 to a substantial normal temperature and a gas releasing hole 53[JPS6034121A]
