Abstract

A roofing member comprises at least two elements 11, 12 integrally connected by a web 16 which constitutes the rise of a step. The elements 11, 12 each have corrugations of the same wavelength and in phase. The rise 16, which is disposed in a direction which is transverse to the elements 11, 12, has a wavelength substantially the same as the wavelength of the elements 11, 12. Holes 20 are provided on the rise 16 for fixing the member to the batons of a house. The member, in conjunction with similar members having a suitable finish thereon, can simulate the effect of a tiled roof.
