Abstract

The object of the invention, to design cutter bars in oppositely rotating double cutting tools of silage cutting appliances in such a way that a uniform pressure transmission from the supporting frame to the cutter bars becomes possible, is achieved, according to the invention, in that the cutter bar (1), on its inner wall directed towards the counter-cutter bar (1), has a step (3) arranged above the cutter (2), the upper inner cutter-bar wall (4) being offset at the step edge (3) by the amount of the step width in the direction of the outer cutter-bar wall (5). <IMAGE> [EP0355283A1]
