Abstract

A device (100) for placing over the mouth and neck of a beer bottle top after opening to prevent a person's mouth from coming in contact with the bottle, comprising of an all plastic material cover (1) with an internal plastic mesh/filter (2) to prevent any substance from being dropped into the bottle. When pushed onto the top of the bottle, it will snap (3) fit and the outer skin of the cover (4) can be colour coded or with a symbol or number for identification purposes and will allow advertising (5) to be placed around it. <Figure 1>

Detailed Description Referring now to the drawings and initially to Figures 4 type B, there is illustrated a bottle top protective (100) cover comprising a one piece (1) all plastic cover with an internal filter mesh (2) that will snap fit (3) when pushed on over the bottle. Claims A device (100) for placing over bottles of alcoholic drinks after opening to prevent contact 5 between a person’s mouth and the bottle, comprising of an internal filter(2) which will stop any substance form being dropped into the bottle. The device (100) will snap fit(3) over the top of the bottle. It will also be colour coded(4) of have a symbol or mark which will make each top unique and be easily identified to prevent it from being unrecognizable if placed among similar branded bottles. It will also be large enough to place advertising (5) on the 10 outside skin.
