Abstract
The invention depicts a method of opening and temporally resealing containers using half a turn in either direction, by doing so one can delay the rate of deterioration of the product within and prevent spillage. This design can be altered to different shapes for to include varying functions without departing from the scope of the invention. By this I mean that this device can be shaped to include other functions such as a badge for advertising logos etc. This particular design allows for the use of various materials for it operation.
Description
This i nventi on relates to art openi ng arnj reseal i ng device to»· use on containers. This design was created so that- the user folW.··
FIG.
A PARTIALLY CVT-AWAY VIEW OP OPERATION OP THE DEVICE.
FIG. 2. A PERSPECTIVE VIEW OF AN OPEN AND REPEAL DEVICES
Referring now to the drawings, there is shown a device according to the invention which comprises of a rotary acting device containing different areas, each of which have their own specific purpose. These areas are as follows;FRIMARY SEAL AREA.SECONDARY SEAL AREA,ATTACHMENT AREA,AND THE OPENING AREA
The device is so designed to operate ’r either direction.
ATTACHMENT AND INITIAL OPENING
The device is attached to the container at one point only which acts as a central point for rotary motion.lt is of a particular shape an positioned close to the seal area so that when the device is turned about it's centre it breaks the seal • » V· .
of the propose'opening.
OPENING
By turning the device one quarter of a turn you break the seal and open the proposed opening. The opening process is simply achieved because; of the shape of the device being forced against the seal area.
RESEAL I NG
By turning the device by a further quarter of a turn it is in positjioh for resealing and by pressing downwards the device seals the container.
L «·- /
REOPENING. ·...·>·'
Reopaning'is achieved by pressing the device at the rear and turning the device away from the opening.
