Abstract
These doors are constructed from two moulded panels separated by timber battens.The front face of the door is made up of one complete sheet of hard-board,pressed to give a panel effect.The other face is a replica of the front face. At the present time in order to insert glass it must be placed between the sheets prior to assembly or by the conven tional method of glazing a door i.e. solid surround and loose glazing bead. The new method allows you to insert glass by cutting a section of the panel , installing the new channel and sliding the glass down from from the top of the door without the use of conventional glazing bead and pins.

Ref. 1 shows moulded panel face.The front and back faces which are identical, are kept apart by battens glued on the outer edges,see Ref.2 and Ref. 3.The rest of the door is hollow.
