Abstract

A coil 60 is wound on a bobbin having a number of bosses A each having a hole 21 through it in which lies a part 52 of a terminal pin 55 which is connected to a printed circuit board 57. At the extremity of each boss A remote from the printed circuit board is a trough 22 along which runs a further portion 58 of the pin 55 and beyond that is a soldered connection to one end 59 of the coil 60. A shroud which covers the bobbin has a skirt portion 39 having an inwardly-directed rib 40, the tip of which directly engages the portion 58 of the terminal pin.
