Abstract
There is provided a medical plaster dispenser, that includes a body (1) and a sliding mechanism (3) which has in parallel two beveled edges (2) which slides in channel (10) to notches (5). The notches (5) are spaced in direct proportion to the size of the medical plaster (6), one notch equalling one plaster therefore ensuring only one plaster is dispatched at any one time. The sliding mechanism (3) has a grip (4) for finger or thumb use. The flexible backing element (7) is attached to the underneath of the sliding mechanism (3) and is housed in channel (10). The unused medical plaster are held in the body cavity (1) and are ejected from the aperture (8) by means of the sliding mechanism (3) along the channel (10) to the required notch (5). The disused backing element (7) is held in place by parallel grooves (12) and sliding mechanism (3). The rounded edge (9) enables the easy transportation of the backing element through 180 degrees from the body (1) along the channel (10) enabling the ejection of the said plaster from the aperture (8). <Figure 1>
Description
SELF ADHESIVE MEDICAL PLASTER DISPENSER
There is provided a medical plaster dispenser, that includes a body (1) and a sliding mechanism (3) which has in parallel two beveled edges (2) which slides in channel (10) to notches (5). The notches (5) are spaced in direct proportion to the size of the medical plaster (6), one notch equalling one plaster therefore ensuring only one plaster is dispatched at any one time. The sliding mechanism (3) has a grip (4) for finger or thumb use. The flexible backing element (7) is attached to the underneath of the sliding mechanism (3) and is housed in channel (10). Claims (4)
1. A self adhesive medical plaster dispenser comprising: A body with a cavity containing a predetermined number of self adhesive medical plasters wherein the plasters cannot be contaminated by any outside influences. A sliding mechanism with a grip to enable the finger or thumb to push or pull the said mechanism thus dispensing a plaster.
2. The medical plaster dispenser of claim 1, wherein the said slide mechanism is attached to the flexible backing element which support the medical plaster.
3. The medical plaster dispenser of claim 2, wherein said slide mechanism is kept in place by a plurality of bevelled edges.
