Abstract
Sistema a schermo di luce che rileva l'introduzione di oggetti in una zona protetta caratterizzato dall'avere un modo di funzionamento capace di autoverifica tramite circuiti logici che analizzano i segnali dei dati dai circuiti sia trasmettitori di luce con LED che ricevitori con fototransistor. Viene generato un segnale di disattivazione se il circuito logico determina che la luce non viene ricevuta in un canale scelto nel momento in cui il LED sta inviando luce esclusivamente a quel canale. Il sistema inoltre fornisce un metodo relativamente semplice ed economico per scegliere ed amplificare i trasmettitori LED e i ricevitori PT. Nel circuito ciascun PT agisce come interruttore che sceglie da solo ed un singolo amplificatore viene impiegato per una pluralità di canali.Il circuito inoltre provvede alla concatenazione di gruppo di circuiti amplificatori/PT all'interno di una catena più lunga usando un singolo diodo.
