Abstract

Il metodo concerne la conservazione di piccoli organismi animali quali servono per la pesca come esche, per ricerche di laboratorio e per la lotta biologica, conservazione necessaria per superare periodi di tempo sensibilmente lunghi (anche di 30-40 giorni) particolarmente per la distribuzione, senza che si verifichino sensibili perdite e deprezzamenti, conservandosi inoltre tali organismi intatti e nelle condizioni idonee per una rapida ripresa dello loro attività; tale metodo consiste principalmente nell'immettere detti organismi (2) in un contenitore, rigido (1) o flessibile (8, 9), insieme con speciale lettiera (3'), praticando poi una rarefazione d'aria vantaggiosamente a circa 0,8 barie, con eventuale sostituzione dell'aria stessa mediante gas inerte, ottenendone l'arresto dell'attività e dello sviluppo; é usato, ad esempio, per la conservazione di larve di mosca carnaria atte a costituire esche nella pesca sportiva.
