Abstract
In un procedimento per la preparazione di N-fosfonometilglicina a partire da acido iminodiacetico si eseguono in serie, in un unico reattore con sensibile risparmio energetico e riduzione nei costi di impianto e di manodopera: la fosfonometilazione di acido iminodiacetico con acido fosforoso, formaldeide ed acido cloridrico; l'eliminazione per distillazione degli ioni C1- in presenza di acido solforico; e l'ossidazione della massa di reazione così ottenuta con aggiunta di acqua ossigenata.
