Abstract

La presente invenzione riguarda nuovi usi terapeutici di estratti lipofili di Commiphora mukul preparati a partire da un essudato di detta pianta, nonché la preparazione di composti puri o loro frazioni altamente standardizzate in principi attivi. Gli estratti, le loro frazioni o i singoli principi attivi puri da essi isolati sono risultati utili nel trattamento di processi infiammatori di tipo allergico e non, interessanti la cute e le mucose accessibili, e nel trattamento sintomatico dell'ipertrofia prostatica benigna e in quello risolutivo dell'acne.
