Abstract

Il film di avvolgimento viene sottoposto ad un primo prestiro in una prima direzione, entro il valore massimo consentito dal film e successivamente il film stesso viene sottoposto ad un secondo prestiro in una seconda direzione trasversale alla detta prima direzione mentre contemporaneamente, il detto primo prestiro viene convenientemente ed uniformemente attenuato per consentire la massima estensibilità nella detta seconda direzione. Il film inserito nella stazione di avvolgimento ha una lunghezza proporzionata alle dimensioni del prodotto da avvolgere e le dette fasi di primo e di secondo prestiro sono anch'esse proporzionate alle dimensioni del prodotto. Quando il prodotto viene sollevato e spinto contro il film prestirato, il primo ed il secondo prestiro vengono convenientemente ed uniformemente attenuati. Il film viene alimentato nella stazione di avvolgimento e viene sottoposto al primo prestiro, da una pinza (34) di svolgimento del film e da un distributore (18) attraversato dal film stesso proveniente dalla bobina d'alimentazione. Il distributore e la pinza sono azionati con movimento autocentrante.
