Abstract

Dispositivo per l'atomizzazione di metalli liquidi, provvisto di un elemento cavo, con asse di simmetria longitudinale, in cui fluisce metallo liquido verso una sezione di uscita e di una camera a simmetria cilindrica racchiudente detto elemento cavo e con medesimo asse di simmetria longitudinale, in cui la sezione di uscita dall'elemento cavo del metallo è posta al di sotto delle sezioni di uscita dalla camera dei gas di atomizzazione i quali a loro volta fluiscono concentricamente in condotti anulari della camera svolgendo sia una energica azione frantumante, intersecando la vena fluida in forma di cono cavo con vertice sul detto asse di simmetria rivolto verso l'esterno, sia una efficace azione di contenimento, essendo proiettati parallelamente su tutta la periferia della vena fluida. Si ottengono così non solo polveri a granulometria fine, di morfologia sferica e con scarsissima presenza di satelliti (particelle piccole saldate a particelle grandi), ma anche un efficace controllo dei gas tale da eliminare fastidiosi fenomeni di splash-back e vortici localizzati intorno alle sezioni di uscita del metallo.
