Abstract

Il procedimento per la produzione di alcool polivinilico plastificato mediante miscelazione di alcool polivinilico in presenza di un plastificante organico e di un contenuto d'acqua insufficiente a disciogliere l'alcool polivinilico in condizioni normali, comprende le fasi di:i) preplastificare l'alcool polivinilico ad una temperatura massima non superiore alla sua temperatura di rammollimento in modo da ottenere un alcool polivinilico pre-plastificato avente una temperatura di fusione inferiore alla temperatura di rammollimento dell'alcool polivinilico impiegato, e ii) ulteriormente processare l'alcool polivinilico pre-plastificato così ottenuto ad una temperatura superiore alla sua temperatura di fusione in condizioni di sforzo di taglio e per un tempo tale da ottenere un fuso sostanzialmente omogeneo.
