Abstract

Viene descritta una spezzettatrice munita di un rullo alimentatore che impedisce ai frammenti di avvolgersi attorno ad esso negli interstizi (15) tra rotori (13) successivi. Lo spessore di parete di ciascun rotore (13) diminuisce dal suo centro verso il perimetro esterno. Ciascun rotore (13) ha superfici inclinate (14) su entrambi i lati. Quando un frammento penetra in uno qualsiasi degli interstizi (15), la rotazione dei rotori 13 è combinata con la forza che agisce sul frammento in una direzione tale da asportarlo. Così, il frammento viene mosso verso l'esterno lungo le superfici inclinate (14) attraverso l'interstizio (15) e tolto dall'interstizio.
