Abstract

Il procedimento consiste sostanzialmente nello addizionare i gas di scarico con aria esterna durante la loro immissione in un recipiente o marmitta; nel far stazionare i gas entro la marmitta; nell'aspirare la miscela i gas di scarico e aria, ad esempio a mezzo di una pompa aspirante e premente, e forzarla in un mezzo, radiatore, riduttore della temperatura per raffreddare la miscela ad una temperatura tale da condensare l'acqua contenuta nella miscela stessa; nel separare i gas condensati dall'acqua e nel riciclarli al filtro di aria di alimentazione del motore o bruciatore. Se il circuito dalla marmitta al ...rigeratore è ostruito, i gas sono inviati in un secondo recipiente, con cui il primo è in comunicazione, e da qui, dopo filtraggio, sono scaricati allo esterno. Nel caso, poi, di motori a combustione interna, ai gas condensati possono anche essere addizionati i vapori di olio dal motore. Il dispositivo per l'attuazione del procedimento di cui sopra consiste sostanzialmente in un recipiente, o marmitta, diviso in due porzioni di un diaframma: in una pompa che aspira i prodotti della combustine, e li miscela con aria esterna e comprime la miscela così ottenuta; in un radiatore, o refrigeratore munito di mezzi per raffreddare la miscela inviata in esso dalla pompa; in condotte che portano la miscela aria e gas di scarico raffreddata ad un vasca di raccolta dove avviene la separazione del liquido dai gas, i gas essendo recuperati ed addotti al filtro dell'aria di alimentazione del motore.
