Abstract
Un procedimento ed un'apparecchiatura per controllare, nella fabbricazione di scambiatori di calore a tubi alettati, il funzionamento di un'allargatubi del tipo che non allarga tutti i tubi a tornante dello scambiatore di calore simultaneamente, cosicché i due rami di ciascun tubo a tornante vengono allargati contemporaneamente. In una forma realizzativa preferita, un'alimentazione di aria in pressione viene convogliata attraverso uno di un gruppo prescelto di rami di tubo ad estremità aperte. Sensori di pressione posti in corrispondenza delle estremità di altri rami nell'ambito del gruppo rivelano l'eventuale tubo in corrispondenza del quale si ha un aumento di pressione, stabilendo continuità tra tale ramo ed il primo ramo ed identificando perciò i due rami sottoposti a prova come parti del medesimo tornante. Questa coppia di rami coniugati viene identificata per l'allargamento con la medesima corsa di allargamento dell'allargatubi. Altri rami nell'ambito del gruppo fra i quali si abbia continuità di pressione vengono similmente rivelati ed identificati. Altri gruppi di rami vengono similmente e progressivamente selezionati e coppie coniugate identificate finché tutte le coppie coniugate nello scambiatore di calore siano state identificate ed allargate.
