Un apparecchio per la preparazione di piatti pronti a partire da pasta alimentare precotta e surgelata prevede almeno un cestello (21) estraibile atto a ricevere dosi di pasta precotta e surgelata, una vasca (12) contenente acqua (14) riscaldata, organi motori (22-25) per muovere il cestello (21) tra una posizione d'immersione in cui il cestello (21) è immerso nell'acqua riscaldata contenuta nella vasca (12) per il riscaldamento della pasta precotta e surgelata ed una posizione allontanata in cui il cestello (21) è allontanato dalla vasca (12).
