Abstract

L'arma può essere commutata fra due modi operativi, semiautomatico o automatico. Un perno situato nell'otturatore, può essere ruotato in una posizione in cui si forma una sporgenza sul lato inferiore dell'otturatore. Il dente d'arresto del cane presenta una camma di guida sulla quale può agire detta sporgenza. Il cane presenta un elemento d'arresto con due spallamenti, destinati ad impegnarsi con un bordo di guida del dente d'arresto del cane. Allorché, la sua porzione di rivestimento piana è allineata con il lato inferiore dell'otturatore, esso non agisce sulla camma di guida; in occasione dello sparo il cane si trova nella posizione completamente caricata in quanto il primo bordo di guida contatta lo spallamento anteriore dell'elemento d'arresto del cane. Questo è il sistema automatico. Allorché il perno presenta la sporgenza sul lato inferiore dell'otturatore, il bordo di guida viene in contatto con il secondo spallamento dell'elemento d'arresto del cane e il cane è tenuto in una posizione di precaria e deve essere caricato prima di sparare il colpo successivo. Questo è il sistema sistema semiautomatico.
