Abstract

Un rullo per macchine di colata continua, comprende un tamburo (10) sul quale è montato esternamente un mantello (35) cilindrico in materiale metallico comprendente rame; in particolare, tale mantello (35) cilindrico è montato sul tamburo 10 in accoppiamento forzato con una interferenza compresa tra valori prefissati. Il rullo così ottenuto è in grado di evitare che all'interno del mantello cilindrico si formino tensioni dannose per il rullo e che sono conseguenza delle dilatazioni termiche subite dal mantello a causa delle elevate temperature in gioco durante il processo di colata.
