Abstract

Un'attrezzatura per lo scavo di gallerie comprende: un telaio montato su cingoli e provvisto di pistoni dotati di piedi stabilizzatori; un gruppo di potenza; un gruppo di lavoro e servizi ausiliari di movimento e posizionamento. Il gruppo di lavoro è sistemato su un braccio montato su una estremità di montanti telescopici, incernierati all'altro estremo al telaio intorno ad un asse sostanzialmente parallelo alla direzione longitudinale della macchina ed è costituito da una struttura rigida rettilinea sul cui perimetro sono disposti a catena e circolanti utensili di scavo lateralmente e frontalmente rispetto alla struttura. Gli utensili sono incernierati ad un cassero, aperto dal lato opposto a quello di incernieramento, e dotato di mezzi di convogliamento nel suo interno di calcestruzzo.
