Abstract

In un apparecchio a chiocciole co-rotanti avente due avvolgimenti di chiocciola interfogliantesi fissati a piastre di estremità che ruotano simultaneamente attorno ad assi paralleli, non concentrici per produrre un moto orbitale relativo, un organo a chiocciola includendo una camera di sollecitazione anulare formata in una piastra di estremità dell'organo a chiocciola opposta allo avvolgimento della chiocciola ed un passaggio da una delle camere formato dagli avvolgimenti delle chiocciole per fornire fluido alla camera. Il fluido esercita una forza su di una piastra di pressione fissata alla piastra di estremità della chiocciola opposta ed agisce così per sollecitare gli avvolgimenti delle chiocciole in contatto con la piastra di estremità della chiocciola opposta. Disposizioni di tenuta sono previste nella camera di sollecitazione della piastra di estremità della chiocciola per assicurare il contatto con la piastra di pressione dell'organo a chiocciola opposta.
