L'attrezzatura comprende un cilindro porta-lame ruotante ed un gruppo di controlame fisse; il cilindro porta-lame è composto da un nucleo assiale (21) e da una serie di componenti esterni (23) sostituibili, i quali formano le sedi per le lame (27); per il posizionamento ed il fissaggio dei singoli componenti esterni sono previsti mezzi a vite (31) e riferimenti a spina (29) o simili.
