Abstract

Una particolare invenzione rende possibile produrre cavi, di qualità e dimensioni finora impossibili, in un sol passaggio su una macchina composta da un gruppo di tiro rotante e da un gruppo di avvolgimento a doppia torsione, in linea.Per isolare il cavo dall'azione di detorsione del flyer, degli speciali alberi forati ed articolati, uno azionato positivamente e l'altro passivo sono interposti tra cavo e flyer.Quando velocità del cavo e del flyer stanno in un rapporto dato, entrambi gli alberi ruotano alla stessa velocità del cavo, evitando ogni cambiamento della sezione e del passo del cavo accuratamente formato da una precedente filiera rotante.L'albero azionato positivamente, se usato da solo, può essere usato per ogni rapporto delle velocità sopra ricordate.Tecniche come questa possono anche migliorare le prestazioni delle usuali macchine skip e doppia torsione.
