Un dispositivo di protezione a ripristino automatico contro cortocircuiti dell'impianto elettrico di bordo degli autoveicoli, che è inserito tra un polo positivo di una batteria ed un nodo di derivazione dell'impianto elettrico della vettura. In serie ad un cavo di collegamento del polo positivo e del nodo di derivazione é previsto un relè con contatto per poter interrompere il collegamento.
