Abstract

E' descritto un procedimento per il trattamento superficiale antiossidante di particolari in acciaio, e specialmente di particolari o componenti di filtri per autoveicoli. Tale procedimento è composto dalle fasi di lavaggio, preriscaldo, nitrurazione e ossidazione a vapore della carica da trattare, che assume una colorazione nera per la magnetite generata dal processo. Tale procedimento è inoltre caratterizzato dalla particolare composizione dell'atmosfera gassosa della nitrurazione. I prodotti finali presentano elevata resistenza all'usura ed alla corrosione.Sono descritte inoltre due realizzazioni dell'impianto necessario per effettuare tale procedimento.
