Abstract

L'essiccatore comprende: una struttura fissa di sopporto (10) e un corpo cavo (18) montato girevole, per l'azione di un motore (50), sulla struttura fissa di sopporto (10) intorno ad un asse orizzontale (20). Il corpo cavo (18) è formato da due elementi (22a, 22b) di forma tronco-conica uniti per la loro base maggiore da un elemento di raccordo cilindrico circolare (24). Gli elementi (22a, 22b, 24) delimitano una camera di essiccazione (26) ed hanno una doppia parete, che definisce una intercapedine(30) atta a consentire la circolazione di un fluido diatermico. Nella doppia parete è praticata almeno un'apertura (32) provvista di un relativo portello di chiusura (34), che è sagomato a guisa di tronco di cono presentante, almeno in corrispondenza di una parte della sua superficie, una doppia parete, che definisce una intercapedine (36) atta a consentire la circolazione del fluido diatermico.(Figura 1).
