Abstract

Sistema per ridurre la rumorosità ed il battito tipico dei motori Diesel mediante l'impiego di un inter-heater (IH), in associazione ed un intercooler (IC) di tipo convenzionale, per controllare la temperatura dell'aria aspirata nei cilindri del motore (M) ad un valore ottimale. Innalzando la temperatura dell'aria la combustione del gasolio iniettato nel cilindro avviene con un ritardo inferiore ed in modo più graduale in modo tale da ridurre la rumorosità e le sollecitazioni agli organi meccanici.(Figura 3).
