Abstract

Un dispositivo di tenuta per un rubinetto miscelatore a monocomando, del tipo che comprende un organo operativamente fisso, un otturatore sferico trattenuto dall'organo operativamente fisso, ed una guarnizione disposta per stabilire la tenuta tra l'otturatore sferico e l'organo operativamente fisso, in cui la guarnizione ha sezione quadrata ed è disposta in modo da impegnarsi a tenuta in corrispondenza di due vertici della sua sezione con l'organo operativamente fisso e da impegnare a tenuta l'otturatore sferico in corrispondenza di un terzo vertice, mentre il quarto vertice della guarnizione non è impegnato a tenuta ne con l'organo operativamente fisso ne con l'otturatore sferico, ed i lati della sezione della guarnizione che sono adiacenti al quarto vertice sono sottoposti alla pressione interna del rubinetto. L'organo operativamente fisso può presentare per la guarnizione una sede inclinata, oppure tale sede può essere realizzata ad una certa distanza radiale rispetto ad una parete laterale adiacente. Un organo anulare può essere disposto per appoggiarsi con uno spigolo contro l'otturatore sferico ed essere spinto a contatto con esso dalla guarnizione a sezione quadrata e dalla pressione interna.
